Apr 2025 - (with Gemma) Ascent from car park above the village of Waunfawr. Shorter one today in sweltering heat once again. Moel Eilio is a great viewpoint and one of the best in Snowdonia considering the minimal height gain to get there. The Carneddau, Glyderau, Elidir Fawr, the Snowdon massif, the Moel Hebog range, Mynydd Mawr and the Nantlle Ridge tops are all prominent in the excellent views. Moel Siabod could be also be seen in the distance. The Llŷn Peninsula and Anglesey look gorgeous to the west. We sat for a while on the summit and enjoyed a snack. Lovely walk around the village of Beddgelert after the walk.
