Aug 2024 - (with Andy) Ascent from Three Rivers Ride. Fantastic walk with a new mate: Andy. We hooked up on Twitter a while back and this walk has been on the cards for a while. Andy is an amazing guy, fabulous company and a breath of fresh air. It was his first time up Pen y Fan but he is experienced in the mountains, having hiked many times in Snowdonia and his beloved Black Mountains. We set off relatively late as Andy was at work in the morning but drank in the beautiful afternoon sun. The views were phenomenal in all directions. Andy is a lovely chap with a wonderful outlook on life. We spoke at length about what's really important in life and the perspective and appreciation that trauma brings for those who have the support of love to reach it. Can't wait to walk with him again and meet his partner, Jill. Thanks Andy. Can't wait for you to meet Gemma and the Glynny Boy! Enjoy your wine tonight. Well done!
