Walk 160 - Glyder Fach, Glyder Fawr
Distance: 11.7km
Ascent: 921m

Aug 2022 - Ascent from Llyn Pen-y-Gwryd. A walk to avoid the masses - the Glyders from the south. Lovely ascent and the views back to the Snowdon massif got better as the walk went on. Spent a great deal of time scrambling around Glyder Fach's bouldery summit. Tryfan and the Carneddau, as well as Y Garn and Elidir Fawr, looked magnificent. The Nant Francon valley and eastern Anglesey, wonderful! A new descent for me down to Pen y Pass from Glyder Fawr with fabulous views ahead of Crib Goch in particular. Saw only about 20 people all day which, considering the cars parked everywhere up through Nantgwynant, was miraculous.
