Jan 2020 - (with Glyn) Ascent from.Forest Lodge Farm. Walking conditions were perfect with no wind and not too cold with amazing views all round. However this did prolong the walk with the number of photos being taken en route. It was great to walk in an area where so few people were encountered. After the third summit, Fan Fawr, we descended to just north of of the Ystradfellte Reservoir. Glyn then cautiously crossed the river, about 500 m further up from where I crossed. Great views to the Black Mountain massif from the summit of Fan Dringarth. The final descent did involve walking down a watery path where we unfortunately encountered a hunt taking place. We did wander as to the large congregation of four by fours in the distance along a narrow lane.
