Dec 2019 - Ascent from Rhyd Ddu. Never saw another soul for the entire walk. A wet start and the slog up Y Garn, however it remained dry afterwards with some sun through the mist which illuminated the ridge in places. It’s been almost 8 years since I was last on the Nantlle Ridge and I’d forgotten just how narrow and scrambly it is. Loved it, despite the weather - total isolation. Headed down Trum y Ddysgl’s south ridge into the Beddgelert Forest on the descent.
