Apr 2024 - Ascent from Loch Quoich dam. Gairich is a distinctive solitary Munro on the south side of Loch Quioch. A ridiculously boggy walk in and out for the first few miles. However, for the out, I was just walking in a straight line through the bog as my feet were already drenched. Once above the bog, the going was good and the final steep walk and scramble to the summit was a joy. Views from the summit were great albeit quite hazy. Knoydart in particular looked fabulous and enticing. I’m yet to venture there.
