Walk 136 - Marsco
Summit pano
Distance: 14.9km
Ascent: 909m

July 2023 - (with Gemma) Ascent from Sligachan. Marsco is probably the finest of the Red Cuillin and is well seen from Sligachan. Despite not even being high enough for Corbett status, the summit is a fantastic viewpoint with swathes of blue sea and jagged mountains all around. So good to be back in Scotland. Left Tyndrum at 7am, checked in early in the Kyle and drove straight away to Sligachan. Walking by 10:30am. This was a great walk in sweltering conditions. Fantastic views from the get go. Sgurr nan Gillean dominated the walk in. We never saw another soul for 5 hours! The narrow summit ridge was fantastic. First photo is inversion over Glengarry on the way to Skye in the morning.
