June 2021 - (with Gemma) Ascent from Knockan Crag. Second time I've enjoyed this beauty, this time with Gemma. Another fabulous weather day and a straightforward mountain which offers magnificent panoramas. At the summit we were greeted with superb views over the other isolated monoliths of Assynt and Coigach including Stac Pollaidh, Quinag, Canisp and Suilven. The two munros of Ben More Assynt and Conival also looked beautiful to the north-east. The grey outline of Foinaven was also unmistakable in the far distance. We pottered around on the summit, had lunch and visited the second summit of Creag nan Calman. Amazing day.
