Jurassic Coast - Treasure Trail - Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door
Distance: 6.9km
Ascent: 350m

Apr 2025 - (with Gemma, Denise and Sophie) Today we tracked down the callous killer of two prominent fossil hunters. Their bodies were found slumped on the Durdle Door beach! We four amateur sleuths solved the clues to reveal their identity and choice of weapon... ie, we tackled another marvellous whodunnit treasure trail, this time down in Dorset. Many folk about in the gorgeous weather and plenty of people bemused as to what we were doing. We remained secretive. Denise and Sophie's first venture to this stretch of the Jurassic Coast and they loved it. Despite the other humans littering and somewhat impeding our quest, we managed a secluded lunch featuring an inquisitive and hungry crow, and minimal solitude for me as I twice descended to the beaches needlessly when G, D and S had already solved the clues up above! Later, due to our hasty misreading of the directions, Denise and I backtracked to solve the clues we'd missed. Stats not included above. Ice Cream all round back in Lulworth was enjoyed as the culprit was eventually revealed.
