Welsh Four Falls Walk
Distance: 7.5km
Ascent: 330m

Jan 2025 - (with Andy) Rendezvous with Sir Luff of Herefordshire was behind enemy lines in Talybont. After a breakfast at headquarters, masquerading as a cafe, we headed to the start point. Our initial plan of walking on the Black Mountain was scuppered by the grim weather. After persistent freezing rain and hail for the first mile or so, the weather cleared up and there were some sunny spells. The car park was empty and we had all four waterfalls totally to ourselves, only seeing a few folk on the return. Fantastic isolation for at least 2 hours - wonderful. Going behind the Sgwd yr Eira falls was special as always and we spent quite a lot of time there. After the pull up back to the path, we rested and were treated to a display from a couple of Great Tits and some fat Robins. Great walk and such a laugh with the Luffmeister.
