Jurassic Coast - Beer to Branscombe Mouth loop
Distance: 8.2km
Ascent: 330m

May 2023 - (with Gemma) The last time I was in Beer was 30 years ago, looking for a correlation between pebble size and distance from the seashore, using Spearman’s Rank. Fun university memories! Today was more purposeful. We walked westwards from Beer, following the coastal path. After climbing out of Beer, there were some great views back to the beautiful village itself and over to Seaton. Eventually the path descends again to take in the wonderful Hookden undercliffs. Branscombe Mouth was a pretty little place. The walk back was along the tops with plenty of bunny rabbits starting about. The last four photos are from an evening stroll from Langdon Hill Woods up to Golden Cap.
