Dec 2025 - Ascent from Walna Scar car park. A much-needed break in the Lakes started with this stank in soggy and blustery weather. Fantastic mining history on the ascent of the Old Man. Into the clag at about 500m, and I didn't come out until, briefly at Goat's Hawse and then eventually, Brown Pike. Dodgy and precipitous scrambling around the summit of Dow Crag. Lovely views over Coniston and southwards on the descent of the Walna Scar.
