April 2022 - Ascent from Spout Force car park. Chose a quiet route today and was rewarded with isolation, apart from a couple of folk. Visited the Spout Force waterfall which is nice except for the fact that the built path's railed viewpoint leaves you squinting through trees to see the falls. Met a chap and spoke for ages on the steep ascent of Graystones. From the summit, it was easy undulating walking with fabulous views of Skiddaw. Had lunch on Lord's Seat. Barf was fun and the descent path beside Beckstones Gill through forestry was great. Nice to see The Bishop and The Clerk once again.
