Walk 250 - Loughrigg Fell
Distance: 8.8km
Ascent: 380m
March 2022 - Ascent from Grasmere. Up in the Lakes and a back/ribs tester - a lower-level walk, still taking in a Wainwright, in order to gauge the healing progress. It's two weeks since my unfortunate fall in Snowdonia. Apart from the expected aches, there was no real pain or spasms today. I wouldn't like to slip or fall though. It also hasn't seized up afterwards either which is good. Anyway, enough of tempting fate. Cold, clear weather throughout with great panoramas. Loved the walk despite pining obviously for the higher summits - the Langdale Pikes, the Coniston Fells, the Fairfield Horseshoe, and the Crinkles and Bowfell looked fabulous, all still sporting a dusting of snow. Dropped down into Ambleside afterwards as bus dependant this time.
