Jan 2020 - Ascent from New Dungeon Ghyll. First walk of 2020, and of the decade. Back in the Lakes and using the bus to get around as I came up on the train.Enjoyable ascent up through Stickle Ghyll to Stickle Tarn with plenty of water about. After the pull up to Harrison Stickle, the mould was cast for the day - gale force winds and stinging rain/hail. Still found my way about ok, and enjoyed the challenge; especially the section from Sergeant Man to Tarn Crag which is mostly pathless. The wind on Tarn Crag was incredible so I dropped down to Easedale Tarn earlier than planned. A soggy one, but fun!
