Qaqortoq's 'Great Lake'
Distance: 12km
Ascent: 250m

Aug 2018 - (with Gemma) Our final port of call in Greenland today was the beautiful town of Qaqortoq, Greenland's fourth biggest settlement set amongst a system of fjords. The area around Qaqortoq has been inhabited since prehistoric times. Beginning with the Saqqaq culture roughly 4,300 years ago, the area has had a continuous human presence. We decided on a hike around Lake Tasersuaq, a route that took us out into the wilds beyond the town.
