Dec 2025 - Ascent from Dodd car park. Ended up squeezing this walk in later in the day due to car issues. Wouldn't start in Hawkshead this morning so had to call out breakdown. It was a cold, miserable wait for them to arrive. The battery was dead; not sure how as I didn't leave any lights or other electrics on. I have jump leads now which I bought in Keswick. Hopefully, it'll start tomorrow morning. Lovely little walk though with some great views of the north-western fells from the summit. The River Derwent is using its flood plain.
